PSY and Kpop of 2012 (midyear) part one

Hey everyone Im back after months break! alooot has happened in the world of Kpop! no kpop update would be compelet without mentioning PSY and his wold smash Gangnam Style! congradulations Sir While I am no fan and I will not get on my hopster glasses and claim my love for a kpop artist i never heard about until CNN PLAYED HIS VIDEO. I follow YG so yeah I heard of him but I never listen to his music I am more of a 2NE1 and BigBang fan. I am veeeery surprised that a kpop video got this far and wasnt a SM production. I was giddy to see my love be shared with millions of people to be reconized by top artist like Justin Biber, Tpain and Josh Gorbin. I was excited to come home and watch a korean idol on my tv not owned by kbs.He was on Ellen TWICE! Once to show Ms Spears how to do the horse dance and later this week to preform in KOREAN! this Us debut has surpassed my Love group Girls Generation's 2012 debut. I was excited to tell my mom about PSY and thrilled to see the parodys that dont see to stop! its all love in kpop right now if YG appa was smart he debut his girls RIGHT NOW! anyway time to update on the new things of kpop 2012 was the year for fresh new Debuts and comebacks woot! For those new to kpop a debut is the show casing of a new group from a company such as SM,YG,TS,LONENET,etc. My favorite debut was B.A.P's Warrior and EXO's offical debut MAMA. B.A.P brought a little flavor to the bland kpop world. tough boys, their not usual flower boy band, their Mv was about being a badass worrior(hoo!) and showing how tough they are.The group consist of of six memebers Bang yong Guk,Zelo (bias),him chan,dae hyun,young jae,jong up. Im in love with is group right now they had a comeback stage this summer with No Mercy.I look forward to more mv and mini albums. * their concept is aliens, they debuted early febuary,their fan club name is Baby. Exo K&M the new super junior....so I heard. Exo the new love child of SM eNTERTAINMENT. The group has 12 members; Suho,kai,sehun,baekhyun(bacon lol),D.o,chanyeol,kris(kreees),luhan,tao,chen,lay,xiumin. they are slit up in to two groups K for Korea, M for China/mando pop/madrin. when they were getting ready to debut they released 21! teasers! (whaaaat?) mostly featuring my snuggle bunny Kai. they debuted with MAMA the best dare I say epic music video of all kpop. the mv was cineamatic and had a great storyline! the storyline was so good it needs to be a book (hint hint Sm). the dancing was impressive, it made me want to learn the steps (almost did too) like BAP they are aliens with super natural powers (ice,fire,water, the whole element shambizzle) with a twist. exo k&m mirror each others worlds i cant explain it the mv will explain it better. what brought me in was the narration in the beginning. it was out of the kpop norm and most a fresh start for a rookie group. the chanting in the mv gets stuck in your head. Careless Careless Shoot anonymous Anonymous Heartless Mindless No one who care about me the rapp was forgettable but the screamo break was lovvvve for me i loved it so much i wanted its babies.lol. i wanna thank Sm for changing up their formual. Gonna be honest the ELF in me was pissed they gave a rookie group more love and a bigger budget than my Loves SUPER JUNIOR! but whatever they gave us Sexy Free and SINGLE and SPY and I was a happy happy ELF13! *EXO is NOT the new suju just a rumor, fanclub name EXOxtics, they debuted april 8th 2012

Oh kpop and your crazy hair

Ever notice hairstyles that make you question your idols hairstylist? This happens to me alot. I swear some idols stylist hate them with a burning passion. I mean why else would these people walk around looking all kinds of crazy? I mean have you seen Triangle by TVXQ! pre breakup? WTF man they look like human anime charaters or spetroth's love children. Lets never see this again unless its a anime con. PRETTY PLEASE! Next is the oh so famous bowl cut..... what can I say about this hideous haircut? notthing this style is just a big NO NO! No man can rock this cut and look sexy or cute, this cut should not be worn by kids and especially grown men such these Just seeing Taemin in a bowl cut makes me want to weep! The pony tails! smh When I first say miss Sandara park from 2ne1 with her stand up pony I thought WTF who made this cutie look like pippy long stockings. This style should be reserved for children not a grown ass women who is stunning as miss Sandara Park. Maybe I dont get the concept the stylist was going for but it look really stuiped! How do they get it to stand like that is what I want to know? how many cans of hair spray did they use to make it stand at attention like that? This style looks cute on a child. Maybe her stylist got inspired by soaping up a kids hair and making it stand. o.o Hopely Miss Park will stick to sleek sexy hair in stead of looking like a two year old at my family'S reuion. lol Next is Gdragon(my bias)'s kenta knots or whatever their called, thogh mr.dragon is known for his quirky looks and out this world style when i saw him rocking teeny knots i see my guys friends rock when their bored I go wtf. this not a good look boo stay with the crazy colored hair you do well baby boy. lol wow fantastic baby!

My hair (oh noez)

So I struggle with my hair ALOT! Like alot of black women I go through the mini battle of wether to perm or go natural, get a weave or get micros etc, For me its harder If I chose to get a perm I get this nagging feeling and feel like Im betraying my natural beauty, when I decide to go natural I go through the frustration of detangeling! aigoo is it hard! the process in itself is tiring. Wet hair,put lotion in it, detangle! Since I am tender-headed I get little tears from detangleing. When I get braids I get lots of icy dander more so than when my hair is permed. :9 I never really dyed my before so It was very new to me when I decided to dye my hair blonde. why blonde? I never went blonde before so I wanted to experience and try something new, and see it matches my personally and style! and it does. 45 minutes later my hair started turning light brown/bronze! it looked so cute when it finally dried! It made my face pop and my nose look smaller (best part) It made me feel excited to put on some make up and see how i look all prettied up! Once prettified I looke purrfect baby. It looked very nice with my concealer, it gave my fave a look of air brushed and sun kissed, just in time for summer! It also added to my high maintenance look I been trying to achieve aka top bitch look!!Im actually really excited to shope for my new look! I think I will two more shades lighter for the summer so each month I will go lighter until I achive my shade of ash blonde! wish me luck Much love, Ai Xhen

My new fashion obession of the week!

I been shopping online lately and I discovered tofebuary.com! Orignally saw them on eatyourkimchi.com during febuary (ha!) I finally got a chance to order and I got this cute ring!

Ta-dah, this ring was only 5 bucks! they have many other items there, like necklaces,rings,hair assories from kdramas,music videos and Cf things you cant find any where else! I love this website and I will hope to buy more things from them!!! Next thing Im so lovin is kim kardasian style false eye lashes! I love the length and the volume.

with these lashes I dont really have to put much masscura or eyelinger on :0, it add it the innocent or sexy look Im going for, their dark and dramatic the way I like them. They look really nice on camera and pictures. which is another plus for me since I love selcs with a passion

Lastly is Eazy color! Its literly easy to dye your hair with fail with this product! it turned my black hair into a bronze brown with in 45 hours, it was my very first time dye my hair and it was simple with Eazy color! I think if the color last I will continue to dye my hair with this and achive my ash blonde color! I didnt have to bleach my hair or any thing it was simply Eazy! So far no brakeage, but we will soon, if all goes well this will be my new style and friend! I like the color I got on my first try, it made my skin pop and looked very nice in my selcas and videos i did to test it, it made me stand out, which is great! yay! well this all for this week yay! much love Ai Xhen

Kouple of weeks ago Xia Junsu released his new song from his new album .....maybe its just a single (lol). The song is hot with a uppercase H. the concept was sexy orgry time featuring the sex bomb that is Xia Junsu (ohwee).

(drooling) The lyrics were konfident & promising I was very surprised to find out that Mr.Junsu wrote this himself. Im impressed he tkes kontrol of his work, he's not just a pretty face (who knew) I just saw the video & I was BLOWN. I was questioning all things kpop (jk) He just upped the antie (sorry EXO)this video was raw, firce & in your face. I was liking the dancers they were thick & oh so sexy. Much diffrent from the standad super thin sexy (no offence impild) This song is addictive & yummy.

Drama update:Skip beat

AUGHHHH! dude! Donghae had me so mad at him for being a jerk to Gong Xi, ohh that nigga had me shouting at the screen the whole time he broke up with her, calling her a servant and shit...oh let me calm down its just a drama but damn his acting was so on point i was hating him. Never knew Donghae was such a good actor, he has skills that make him believeable as the bad guy. he looks soooooo damn sexy as the jerk....I have a love hate relationshit up bad boys I love them but i hate them. So Im on episode 3, Im rewatching them because I wasnt watching the part 2-5 now I watching it the way itsuppose to be watched and I like it even more. so good and addicting. Donghae is silly in it to which always fun to see. I found out that he spoke mostly in korean and so his voice in the drama isnt him :( that suck but its okay. i guess...idk Im just gettin to the part where Gong Xi is begging and auditioning to get into L.M.E Funniest part is where Gong Xi see siwon dissing her on tv and she goes up to the tv and pretends to choke him, I laughed so hard. she reminds me of myself alot so i love her character cuz i can see myself doing some of the stuff she be doing. The wrench scene had me dying sigh as Im loving the badboy thing from him I miss sweet innocent Donghae, when I finnish SkipBeat I shall watch Daddy's girl and watch him be sweet. well Im off to watch episode 4 much love Ai Xhen

New Segment! The elephant in the room!

I will soon be introducing a new segment called The Elephant in the room.
This will be about the embrassment I feel when trying to share my love of asian culture with friends and the akwardness of buy said products. I know its dumb to feel this way but I think is a great way to get it out.

I like asian culture and asian men, I can separate the two, I have never used my liking of asian things to attract a asian guy...that would kind of pointless and sterotypical, Im always myself around them, I dont treat them like magical beings and look in aw of them, I reserve that for my fave idols. The misconception in these groups that asianplies(the women) flock to these groups in hope of finding their asian prince...pfft (delsional)and when these women get there they are humiliated and bashed for what they like and they are called thirsty and dick riders. I given up on those group for that reason, they lump all of us together like were all like this. :( I dont need a group to find a asian boyfriend (I really dont want one) I dont see the apeal of these types of groups there all full of bitter bitches who lost hope of dating a asian guy and lash out at the newbies because they are jealous of their hope, they call it tough love but i see it as bulling. maybe im soft but i dont thinnk I want to be apart of a group that trolls and bullies you for being yourself.

weekend update: drama,movies and just me being sleepy

During the weekend I failed to what I wanted to do, I wanted to watch a full episode of Daddy's girl and get the meat of the drama but I was too tired to actually watch it all the way I GOT THROUGH ONE! fail! i barely got the storyline, I just know that she is a spoiled brat that causes her father high blood pressure and for him to worry about her. her siblings are spoiled but she is extremely spoiled and clingy to her father. she is unrealistic and babyish...This sounds like a good watch, My favorite type of characters are the spoiled bitchy girls or the uber bitch. I did watch a little of Skip beat saturday and I got to ep seven and then I colasped. Sunday I watched the korean version of Old Boy...ohh wee it was soooo good, so dramatic and graphic.I dont really like graphic movies with aloty blood and violence but besides a few scenes when Oh Disu ripped old dudes teeth out with a the hook part of a hammer it was really good. I didnt like the ending with the villian shooting himself in the end but I like it and the incest. Im not sure its true the manga that i read in high school but it was really good movie. I watched it on Netflix...idk, I figured that some may want to check it out as well. I heard Spike Lee is making a remake, I hope it just as good, Hes known for making great movies like Do the right thing is my favorite movie by him. I feel he will do this movie justice and go beyound and make a better version.I dont really like american remakes of asian films not because it american and in english but because we tend to water it down and take alot of important scenes out or fucking whitwash it like Drangon Ball Z that shit was embrassing and just...lets not start on that.
I hope everyones easter was pleasent and you all stuffed your faces with jelly beans. I will be watching Soul Eater for awhile so I will not be updating about Daddy's girl or skipbeat until I finnished season one and two of soul eater.

So I decided that my youtube account will be more about kpop and dramas.
i always wanted to do this but I was afraid that because Im not asian it would kind of akward. Thankfully I put that behind me and decided to do what makes me happy and this makes me happy. tbh I really dont have alot of offline friends that are into kpop and dramas so I enjoy them with my family like my mom or discuss them with online friends. My boyfriend dislikes kdramas and thinks me watching them is cray cray. (say wha? ninja?) I have friends who like it but get discourage ed by the elephant in the room when watching asian dramas. Ugh people care too much about others opinions, I say do what you want and fuck the haters, they wished they had the guts to do what we do! I think kids of colour watch and buy alot asian products more so than asian americans....okay maybe not more but we buy alot of it. so here how it will go.

Drama update #1 Skip Beat (Taiwainese drama)

I started reading Skip Beat the shoujo mangna published by Shojo Beat recently, I read the first volume awhile ago(years) but It didnt catch my eye, so I stopped. I picked it back up and started reading it because I heard there was a drama featuring Donghae and Siwon. I was excited and I wanted to get the story line and check it out. :) WORTH IT! the manga isnt that bad its addicting after awhile, crazy creepy at times but worth the read. I like Shota(not because he is played by Donghae)Hes a bad boy and selfish..I think Ren is cool as well but he's milk toast compared to Shota, I love ther heroine Koyoako she is funny. I only watched five episode of the series, because I got destacted but finnishing Peach Girl the anime series with my mom. My mom wants to watch the taiwanese drama verison of Peach girl so I may be watching that for awhile. I also got distracted by Itsokay Daddies daughter with Donghae. I heard of it and I wanted to check it out. I will continue watching SkipBeat very soon. It has promise and Donghae looks yummy in it, plus it seems like it follows the manga closely and will be funny. I seen only one grudge in it so maybe Ill see more when I watch and follow it more closely. I hope it gets more appling as I get deeper into the series.

Soooooooo, the down side to my off facebook.com mission is that I am missing the lastest kpop videos! Majorly messed up! how can SHINee have a comeback and I wasnt present??? I thought we were frieds guise! I watched the video Sherlock today and I was blowwwwwn away! I am impressed, I always been a fan of SHINee since I started listening to kpop. They were my favourte group after Superjunior. They can blow! My bias is of course Lee MinHo and Key! *swoon* Key is a diva and sooo Firce! I love him sooooo much! Okay now for what I didnt like of the video....*cue thunderstorm* I notice it was old fahion and victorian(ish)and I liked it. After that it was a big what the fudge cake!? Why are they wearing modern clothes during the dancing? Why were they being so slow not to notice Jessica (the ghost) had told them where the missing jewerly was? she practicly told them where it was.....but noooo they were too buzy looking fine and taking a picure of a ghost....um who takes pictures of ghost? If my ass saw a ghost Id be ohh shit and running out the door. lol but thats just me. What I loved about the video was TaeMin's weave! it reminded me of the Lucifer video! so sexy, i can say that now hes of age and rappable!...huh what Im sorry we werent talking about how rapable Taemin was? oh okaies..I love the hook, "I'm so curious" and the DANCING!!!!!! they had sex with my ears when i heard the harmony and vocal range. it was very pleasing and a FANSTATIC WAY to come back after being away for soooo long. i had tears in my eyes when i saw it.
Yeah I give this video a 10 out of 10. Im glad SHINee is back and looking better than ever and sounding like orgasms! I hope the next single sounds great and I cant wait to buy this album. *fan girl squeel eeee!*

I know Im black and NO i dont want to asian in any matter (no offense) I just like kpop and chinese pop....alot. I know theres weiredness about black people being into asian pop culture but I dont give a shit and I love it too, so deal with it or hit that pretty X at the right. I dont want to be a idol in korea or china, I wanna be known on the wb and share my love with everyone. Now that we got that out of the way lets discuss what Aprils mission is.

April I now declare get off Facebook.com! I want everyone to get off Facebook for two weeks and explore reality! I been off facebook for almost a month in March and I felt I made wonderful strides in my life. I became a better oma to my kids and I meet new people and I explored apar of minneasota that I never been to. I personally have never been further than The metrodome via walking. I feel proud of myself and I want everyone to the same and report aback. or at least spend time on a diffrent website...STOP FEEDING THE MACHINE!
